Lancer sports a new engine
Mitsubishi is getting in early with its bid to boost sales in September when the new registration mark hits the streets.
Keen to cash in on the best sales period of the year, the firm has announced a new Lancer Sport with 2.0-litre engine.
Complete with lowered suspension, alloy wheels and sporty looks, the Lancer Sport starts at £11,524.
For those hoping to live out their Evo IX dreams in the Sport, they'll be in for an abrupt wake-up call when they find the new model only manages 0-62mph in 9.4 seconds and tops out at 124mph.
However, Sport buyers will at least be fingering the same Momo steering wheel as used in the genuine Evo models.
Another sporty deal from Mitsubishi is the Colt Blue. Guess what? It's blue with a blue interior.
It comes with a 1.1-litre three-cylinder engine, has three doors and costs £8,499.

For many, off the shelf bikes just won't cut it and a custom bike is the only way to go. For years, the idea of having a custom bike was out of the range of most budgets and most custom motorcycle kits were poor quality. However with the rise in interest in customized choppers, the custom motor cycle kit has become a great option for those who won't settle for any thing but a custom bike but either can't afford a Jessie James or desire a more intimate connection with their bike.
