Bentley Continental GT Bullet by TopCar, Russia

Russian tuners TopCar have released a new package for the Bentley Continental GT and the GT Speed coupe. The kit includes a series of aerodynamic work, body panels, design touches, and wheels, but not a performance upgrade.

Bentley Continental GT Bullet-1Bentley Continental GT Bullet-2For TopCar, this is their follow-up to their work on the Porsche Panamera. Dubbed "Bullet," the upgraded models receive a new front-end, including a renewed bumper, a grille for the GT, and a new hood designed with air intakes. A front spoiler is also built in, as well as LED lights. New side skirts lead into the wheel wells, which integrate interestingly with the freshened rear bumper. The bumper has vents built in behind the wheels, and a diffuser at the bottom.

The price tag for the kit, with the alloy wheels, is €25,000. The front fenders seen in the photos of the white GT are still in development, and are not included. Those can be purchased for an additional €5,000. Getting the matte black paint job runs an additional €7,000.

BMW Artcars in the Middle east, Dubai

Sheldon Rodriguez is a Visual Interaction Design Specialist by profession, and a very passionate BMW fanatic from Dubai, United Arab Emirates. BMW Artcars was an inspiration, especially the one done by Andy Warhol, Over a period of time, there happened to be another BMW fanatic Travis Todd who took a bold step in doodling his hood, and this further influenced him to has the same art form on my BMW - but this time taking it to the next level. The artwork is a product of collaboration with another artists by the name Mark Ganzon.

BMW Artcars in the Middle east, Dubai-1BMW Artcars in the Middle east, Dubai-2Dividing the car into two, the holistic theme was to have the left drivers side make use of sharp angled strokes to depict the evil, while the right passenger side to make use of open rounded strokes to depict the good. All the art was done with three sharpies permanent marker, and was quite a task to have it covered on the surface of a car. There was no form of pre-planning involved in drawing and relied heavily on our design backgrounds. Since we had our full time jobs to focus on, the project was done after working hours; about 3 hours every evening - the heat and humidity during the summers was not any good to have a smooth completion.

After three days of intense sessions, the project was completed and the outcome was outstanding. The art was protected with a layer of matte lacquer to retain the original look of the car. Being a integral part of the BMW Club in the UAE, and this project being the first of its kind in the Middle East, he took this opportunity to thank the fellow members of the club and the E46Fanatics.com to be an inspiration.

2010 Suzuki Swift hybrid plug-in concept

The Suzuki Swift is a competent subcompact that the Japanese marque sells both in Japan and Europe. In the latter, the little hatchback is available with a solid 1.3-liter diesel dubbed DDIS. To make things even cleaner, Suzuki has announced that it will introduce a plug-in series hybrid version of the Swift at the upcoming Tokyo Motor Show, and the powertrain reminds us of nothing less than a smaller Chevrolet Volt.

2010 Suzuki Swift hybrid plug-in concept-12010 Suzuki Swift hybrid plug-in concept-2The model, which is just a concept at this point, uses a 660 cc engine, probably sourced from a kei car. The engine charges the lithium-ion batteries, which are placed between the front seats – we suspect they extend into the middle of the rear seat as well. The batteries power a 54 kW motor that moves the front wheels.

2010 Lorinser Mercedes-Benz M-Class

(from Lorinser Press Release) In fitting with its recent face-lift, Sportservice Lorinser provides the latest refreshed 2010 Lorinser Mercedes-Ben M-Class with a special sporty kick in the form of a newly designed aerodynamic package. The traditional vehicle tuner from Winnenden has specifically worked on the sporty character traits of the powerful SUV. Here the designers used a special trick: due to the components which have been moved much lower and thoroughly varnished, they brought the four-wheeler much closer to the tarmac. In particular the new Lorinser four-fin grill, which only ends on the lower edge of the fog lights, lets the whole vehicle sit so close to the tarmac that you can "feel" it. The strongly contoured front spoiler with the sports grill insert just above the underride protection strengthens the image of the steeled Autobahn attacker. At the same time round lines and curves break up the geometric front and provide an elegant note.

2010 Lorinser Mercedes-Benz M-Class-12010 Lorinser Mercedes-Benz M-Class-2The Lorinser side sills underline laterally the muscular side of the M-Class: they extend the bodywork optically downwards – in particular with black colour the SUV seems to melt into the road. The contact with the road surface is actually provided by diverse Lorinser light-alloy wheels, as chosen by the customer, with which the owner can give his/her M-Class a special individual note. Many designs are available, both in black and silver, so that the vehicle can reveal a completely different character, depending on the customer’s wishes.

But not just the attack and midfield of Lorinser M-Class is first-class. At the back Lorinser has brought in a massive and plastic-formed rear spoiler. With a sports grill and the underride protection moved much lower, it promises a dominant playing strategy with the strong series standard petrol and diesel engines of the M-Class: one step on the accelerator and the four massive Lorinser exhaust pipes provide the starting whistle.
