Supermini: Toyota Unveils Superman Edition Yaris

JAKARTA, Indonesia — Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it is the Toyota Yaris Superman Edition, now on sale for comic-book fans who want a subcompact car with a superhero twist.

The Superman Edition is based on a standard Yaris but features striking blue paint in the unforgettable shade of Superman's costume. The "S" logo is all over the place: Outside, it is visible on the engine hood and on the rear door next to the Yaris emblem. Inside seats have been trimmed in blue, while the steering wheel features the S shield. The S motif appears on the floor mats, handbrake, gear knob, even the tissue box.

Superman character stickers and body stripes have been painted on both sides of the body.
