Volkswagen Individual has designed three different R-line options for the Golf. The base upgrade starts with the Golf Trendline, a package that includes 17-inch alloy wheels, a sport leather steering wheel, R-style pedals, door trim and an R logo on the side of the car.

The uplevel Golf Plus R-line package adds seats with R embossed headrests and "engine spin dark" interior trim. The exterior R-line package can be ordered separately from the interior upgrades. It includes R logos on the sides of the front fenders, a roof edge spoiler and special air inlets.

Three R-line packages are also rolling on for the Touran, Passat and Passat Variant and Touareg. The extensive list of appearance changes include an Exterior R-line package for the Touareg that adds a matte chrome finish radiator grille with dual fins, custom bumpers, special side running board and 20-inch alloy wheels.
