Lexus To Unveil New LX 570

NEW YORK — Lexus will unveil its third-generation luxury sport-utility vehicle, the LX 570, at the New York auto show in April.

The Toyota brand will say only that the LX 570 will "reach new heights in performance...and comfort" with a new V8 engine among the changes to the big SUV. The name appears to indicate that it will have a 5.7-liter V8 engine, which is likely to be the same motor that was recently introduced in the 2007 Toyota Tundra. The unveiling is set for April 5.
