A little bit of Fisker
Fisker, consider us teased. This is the first image of the upcoming plug-in hybrid luxury car from Henrik Fisker, the man behind the BMW Z8, Aston V8 and the delicious Artega GT.
Apologies for the grainy little photo, but that's all we've got to go on at the moment, along with a few scant details. The hybrid is expected to cost around £50,000 and is due to debut in Detroit early next year.
It'll be limited to a production run of just 100 cars, but we've got no idea how efficient it'll be or even what engine lurks under that long bonnet.
It should look good, though - scrutiny of the image reveals hints of Aston, Maserati and maybe even a bit of Ferrari about the elongated front-engined grand tourer.
"We want people to drive beautiful fast cars that make environmental sense," says Henrik Fisker. "Cars that are eco-chic and will have less of an impact on global warming."
Noble aims indeed. We'll find out more about the Fisker hybrid early next year.
