Chrysler Nassau and Jeep Trailhawk Sketches Revealed
DETROIT — Chrysler pulled the wraps off styling sketches of two concept vehicles that will make their debut in early January at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
The Chrysler Nassau is a four-passenger, four-door "coupe" with luxury aspirations. The car borrows heavily from the current Chrysler-brand styling oeuvre. The company is hedging all over the place in terms of production plans, saying that the design "leans toward an exploration as to what could be a future sedan in the brand's lineup."
The Jeep Trailhawk appears to pick up where the Jeep Compass left off in terms of exterior design cues, although Chrysler said the concept is built on the updated body-on-frame architecture of the 2007 Wrangler. In fact, look for elements of the same basic styling theme to appear next year in the redesigned 2008 Liberty.
