PGO Cevennes and PGO Speedster
You could be forgiven for thinking that the PGO Speedster II and Cevennes were just another couple of Porsche Speedster replicas, but they're not.
The styling may be closely based on the German classic, but these two open-tops are designed and built in France with a mid-mounted Peugeot engine, and right-hand-drive models are finished off in the UK.
The 2.0-litre engine has 138bhp, which sees the 930kg PGO models from 0-60mph in 6.8 seconds and on to 134mph.
Decent enough performance, and PGO says the cars handle just as well thanks to a purpose-built tubular chassis - no ropey old VW Beetle floorpans here.
The Speedster II has a more traditional look, while the Cevennes is an updated idea of the Speedster shape.
Both cars come with 17in alloy wheels, leather interior and parking sensors as standard. The Speedster II costs from £28,889 and the Cevennes from £29,999.
Both cars will be on show at the Canary Wharf Motorexpo on June 11-17 and are on sale now.
