Fiat solar powered prototype Phylla

Fiat certainly seems to be showing the way in the Italian car market, having released its solar energy car prototype. The name of this electric and solar powered vehicle is Phylla, and it could even debut on the market in 2010.

Here we can see photos of the prototype, fruit of a collaboration with other Piedmontese companies. The president of the region has even promised the purchase of the first small fleet of solar cars as a push to larger scale production.
